The National Flute Association held an extraordinary 50th Anniversary Convention in Chicago! Almost 3000 flutists from all over the world emerged into 4 days of non-stop fluting fun.

There were countless world premieres of new music from concerti to solo works to chamber music and flute choir pieces in every style imaginable. There was beautiful representation from the full spectrum of cultures, races, nationalities, and genres highlighting the universal language of music! Amateurs to the highest levels of professional performers and teachers mingled freely and generously with each other. The flute industry members (flute makers, publishers, music stores…) came to share their latest and greatest for all to see and try!

Emanuel Flutes introduced a new and unuque headjoint design, called Emanuel Modern! So many flutists stopped to try it, as well as all other available inventory.

We sold out everything! A great success!
